This is a great app and I feel worth the additional purchase for those moms out there that participate in the art masterpiece program at your schools! If you are looking to brush up on some truly iconic and historic artists, then this app is definitely for you! It gives biographies, art samples and even allows you to participate in quiz's that test your ability to recognize a specific artists style and technique. The free Lite version has only a small sampling of artists available but at $.99, the full version of this app is well worth the price offering over 80 different artists! When you are teaching about artists to a group of impatient kids, it is wonderful to have some real information along with art samples at your fingertips!
