After 4 kids going through the various stages of swimming, I have to say with a fair amount of authority that I think I have tried nearly every floatation device I could find! After a great deal of trial and error, money and frustration, I am happy to say I have finally found a product I can wholeheartedly recommend! The Baby Spring Float is the first device I have found that does not teeter or tip with my childs activities. My toddlers have been able to wiggles, squirm, splash and kick and have not been able to tip this little beauty. It has two separate extra large inflation rings that keep it steady and stable amidst even my most rambunctious toddlers activities. The space between these two rings is connected with a netting that allows my toddler to reach enough water to play and splash. I can even put their toys there and they will float but won't float away!
The other feature I have loved about this product is how quick it inflates and how quick it deflates. I can have it up and ready in less than a minute and collapse it just as fast. It folds down into a small circle which then fits into the included mesh storage bag. The bag has enough room to even store some of my swim goggles and suntan lotion so I just use it as my families swim bag!
The product recommends it for use with ages 9 months to 2 years but I have used it as early as 7 months and as late as 3 years with great success! They even have a new added feature of a sun canopy that has three different positions. The materials are strong and I will add that this is the only toddler floatation device that has made it through more than one summer with my family!
I found mine at Walmart but I ran accross them on this website as well…http://www.poolcenter.com/pool…..oddler.htm. While I have loved this product, my sense of water safety insists I include that I don't believe in ever turning your back on a toddler in a floatation device no matter how safe or amazing it may appear.
